Dale Goodwin is President. She has participated with various non-profits for the last 25 years; primarily with development and  fundraising. She is a resident of Girdwood and loves to ski, so this is a great place for her.


Lynn Johnson, Vice-President, has had ties to the Girdwood area since the early 1970's, and to this day is very active in many Girdwood activities.  He is an Anchorage business man and Girdwood property owner, and spends as much time as possible in Girdwood both summers and winters.


Jim Barnett is the Secretary for the Girdwood, Inc. Board of Directors, as well as Secretary to Girdwood 2020.  He is an Anchorage attorney, including extensive experience in Girdwood.  He also has interest in Alaska history and has written two books about early European exploration here.  Mr. Barnett is also the President of Cook Inlet Historical Society and is actively involved with the Anchorage Museum.


Diana Stone Livingston is treasurer and founding director of Girdwood, Inc. She and her family are thirty year residents of Girdwood and have always worked to support the needs of the community.


Larry Cash is a founding Director of Girdwood, Inc.  He and his wife, Barbara, enjoy spending time year around at their property in Girdwood.  When he isn’t working at his Architectural firm, Larry enjoys skiing, flying, fishing and walking Roxie, their dog, around his Girdwood neighborhood.


Douglas Penn - I have lived in Girdwood for the past 10 years with my wife and two children and work as a school administrator for the Chugach School District.  I am extremely interested in community service projects that seek to improve the quality of life for Girdwood residents and sustain the natural beauty of our surrounding area.


Kate Sandberg is a retired professor of English from the University of Alaska Anchorage. Now she skis frequently, enjoys her extended family, and participates in Girdwood civic projects.


David Wilson is a 20 year employee of Alyeska Resort and has actively been involved in community affairs and development. Most recently he was the project manager for the Roundhouse at Alyeska Museum.


Tom Yeager and his wife Lenore have lived in Girdwood for 35 years.  While raising two great kids in this valley, Tom managed to find time to be active in Girdwood Rotary, Girdwood Trails Committee, Girdwood Board of Supervisors, Girdwood Area Plan Review Committee, Turnagain Arm Management Plan, Girdwood 2020, and the Alaska Glacier Institute.


Chris von Imhof, Honorary Member, founding Director of Girdwood, Inc.

The first major project he supported with fundraising was the restoration of the historic Roundhouse at Mt. Alyeska.
